A glittery card

OOOPS!  Looks like I didn't write down all the details for this week's challenge.  It was actually a SKETCH glittery challenge, which this card does not follow at all.  Guess I'll have to create another card tonight.  LOL!!!!

Sorry for all the cards these past couple of days.  I'm concentrating all my challenge creations on card making so that I can add them to the batch of cards I will be selling at a Lupus fundraiser tihis week.

This week's Cricut Circle weekly challenge asked us to get glittery.  I heart glittery/sparkly things, so I knew this would be fun.

I'm also a big fan of the layering Cricut images.  It's in my creative personality to layer and layer to create a final product.  This is why I love cartridges like Paper Doll Dress Up, Create a Critter, Disney, etc.

For this challenge, I used Create a Critter.  I decided since winter is coming up sooner that I want it to, that I would make a wintery scene.

My igloo and penguin were glitter-ized by white glitter paper.  It's so sparkly...wish I could translate that well in pictures.  I also added a bit of bling to the card on the eyes, centers of the snowflakes and punctuation marks.

The igloo and penguin were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge.
The Let it Snow and snowflakes were from a clear Mary Engelbreit stamp set - from the dollar bin at Michaels.
The striped paper and "Brr!" were from a christmas paper pack that used non traditional colors (can't remember which one as I pulled it all apart).
