Monochromatic bday

Challenge four of The Paper Variety anniversary week is to make a monochromatic paper project using your favorite color.

It was not only tough to choose one color (I can't really say I have a favorite favorite), but if you've read my blog in the past, then you know monochromatic styles are not my strength.  Visually, I prefer and feel more comfortable with at least 3 colors in my projects.  So this card project was T-O-U-G-H!

I chose a soft pink look which would be perfect for a girlie girl's birthday.  Sorry about the lighting in this picture.  Just know that the ribbon is a baby pink and the gems are also a soft pink.  I'll try to update with a better picture tomorrow (when I have actual sunlight to help).
