This Moxie Fab World challenge asked us to incorporate playing cards into a creative paper project. I have to admit I was initially a bit stumped on what I was going to make, but I then remembered that I had bought a Tim Holtz stamp set that had a playing card as one of the stamps.
The stamp was pretty small, and it was the only card in the set so I couldn't do a deck of cards or anything like that. I had to really on some creative use of the background and some teeny stamps to create a custom saying (thanks Elisa!).
I didn't plan my space correctly, so my phrase fell off the top layer a bit. Additionally, the holder for the teeny stamps only had limited horizontal space so I couldn't spell out YOU'RE in my second line. So let's go with a texting version of the spelling - ha!
I forgot to mention that I scraplifted this overall background design from The Rubber Cafe gallery. I thought it would go perfectly with this card. Such pretty stuff on there - it's inspiring.
Hey Nubia! Thanks for linking this up to the Card Play Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
